Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English Language and questions will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/detecting mis-spelt words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, cloze passage & comprehension passage.

The candidates should be graduates. And they should have passed or should be appearing in final year of two year diploma in Elementary Education.

The candidates applying should be graduates, having obtained at least 50 per cent marks. And the candidates should have passed or should be appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) program.

OR

The candidates applying should be graduates, having obtained at least 45 per cent marks. And the candidates should have passed or should be appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) program in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
